It's best to exhibit control, ease, & leadership in times of great chaos. I'm glad he didn't jump up, hysterical, etc. The Press was there. He was under the public spotlight. I think it was correct to remain calm. As his Chief of Staff commented, many logistics had to be organized and having Bush stay calm only assisted the situation.
