Don't get me wrong, the DRM doesn't "want" the thing kept in such bad shape, they just have their priorities in a different order than what I think they should be....
And, as with any organization they can only take care of the projects they have the money and volunteers for - so the best any of us can do is pitch in or at least donate to the cause of our choice.....

the 2012 i ssitting at Harmon "retired" but "awaiting disposition".
the 2013 was 'donated'/'leased' to the Danbury Railway Museum where it will rust and wrot and probably never amount to anything more than a static display.
