7) Israeli Central Elections Committee banned 2 arab parties from running in the election saying that they being arabs "denied the right of the Jews to control their state". That is racist. 4) As far as I know, Hezbollah and Hamas do not really target anyone, they just make loud bangs in crowded areas regardless of who is there. the IRA are also freedom fighters (at least according to the USA and they blew up innocents too...

3) Technically speaking, Palestine has been an independent territory for most of the time before 1948, just ruled over by empires as were the ancient Israel and Judah were (in the bible they pay monetary tribute to the empires ruling them) So unless they were never independent... Palestine must have been considered so.
