The Allman Brothers Band live at Fillmore East 09/23/1970
Unaired set from a PBS-TV special
Second song, Dreams
With Gregg Allman, Duane Allman, Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks, and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson
This video is sourced from a VCD made from an unknown generation VHS. I did my best to get rid of some of the compression artifacts, and fix the color.
Please let me know if anybody else has a better sourced video.
@ColeHudson25 why should I trust you?

The best-always-forever. The bending of the notes, the feeling, the timing, and tone, and just 25! Duane will always be the best. I'm old school, I've heard them all-Duane's the greatest-trust me.

@0819Marlene I never assumed a statement "we were born with ALL knowledge automatically" more that, in this road of life... many of us can come onto things that we hold as self dignified truths. It is through arguing these truths, that you can strengthen their meaning. Arguing doesn't consist of "screaming and yelling" unless you chose too scream and yell. I believe that as I go further down the road of life, I will come to realize that much more than knowledge is ultimately meaningless.

@JimmyPage97 To say that "arguments bring knowledge to the surface", would mean that we were born with ALL knowledge automatically. And all we have to do is scream at someone to dragged it out. That is quite the theory on life you've got.
As you get further down the road called life, you will look back and realize that 95% of the things you argued over were meaningless. Knowledge is simply the ability to learn and then "store it" in your memory. Wisdom is what's important!

@0819Marlene Five months ago was a very long time. I read the comment, and commented back. Nothing more, nothing less. I never wish to sound pompous nor argumentative. Or I suppose, not argumentative in a negative way. Duane Allman, and this entire band are extremely influencial on my life, and knowledge is always welcomed. Arguments are what bring the knowledge to the surface.

@skipsassy1 If you think Skydog was a bit boring then go listen to Boz Scagg's and Duane Allman-Loan Me a Dime(13:45) version NOT the ones cut in half.
Every second of that was ad-libbed out of his soul. Which is how he played all the time. Or how about the ORIGINAL Layla , Eric wrote the words but 85% of the music was Skydog, including the infamous riff. That outrageous phenominal bottled-neck slide you hear is Skydog. Even a very young SRV got the thrill of his life when he played w/ Duane

@0819Marlene I'm sure he picked up some musical theory type stuff on his journey. I'm pretty sure Dickie Betts was pretty knowledgable.

Duane's notes around 6:00 aren't on the guitar. They were in his head and soul and somehow he made the sound come out. RIP, Skydog!
