Against all odds- a rare combination of livestock due to usual incompatibility. Over 50 different species of angels, butterflies, tangs, triggers, and puffers. This aquarium requires a precise feeding and maintenance regiment in oder for it to thrive. This is one for the trade publications!! A true eye-catcher. Designed and maintained by infinityaquariums.com of Los Angeles.

  • nice......very nice actually...but do the angels never fight...what kind of equipment do you have and how often do you clean your tank....in my 539 gallon. i only have 5 angels...but they are still really aggressive....very nice

  • Thank you. Initially, there was significant aggression between the angels. However, introducing several (3-4) at a time and heavy feedings have kept the tank manageable. I do a 40% water change every two weeks. R.O. water is used along with an oversized wet/dry filter, uv, protein skimmer, mechanical filter, and chiller. The water parameters are kept very specific as well.

  • Outstanding tank! you have some really nice movement. I have a 220 gallon tank with a Passer and French angel, the French is quite a bit bigger than the Passer and they werent introduced at the same time. They get along fine but i was just wondering if it would be safe to add other angels or if the angels had to have a specific compatible format. Just looking for some more information

  • @kvance44 Thank for the kind words! Much appreciated- we can't please everybody, but its good to know we've got the attention of viewers. As far as this tank goes, many of the fish have been transferred to the tank you in the vid "Custom Aquariums and Saltwater Fish". The angels were just getting too big, so now they're in a 2000 gallon! Its still going strong though! Lots of beautiful species and tons of activity.

  • To all of you hating on this tank, do some research on Infinity Aquariums. They maintain this tank. They are obviously very knowledgeable and capable and would know sooner than any of the rest of us if there was a problem. These guys know their stuff. If kept by a novice, this tank would be doomed. Anything is possible with the right equipment and the right maintenance schedule. My boss at the pet store where I work once kept 100 neon tetras in a 29 gallon.

  • this is very pretty but im pretty sure thats not 500 pounds of live rock plus a lil overcrowded

  • hi you say you do a 40% water change fortnightly 200g wow must cost you some money in salt

  • Great tank just like in coral reef.!!!

Many many fish close together, no like most idiots doing only 5-7 fishes in space able to keep easily 20 like nature.

I wonder, all those marine biologist experts did ever dive in their life in coral reef in order to see whats the real thing.???

  • terrable

  • is that a trigger?

  • @RoofFiddler- i totally agree!

  • @RoofFiddler Have you ever seen what a wild coral reef looks like? Fish are much lonelier in an aquarium, even like this, than they would be out on a reef. Reef fish tend to gather in groups anyways, because it is more safe and you are more likely to get a meal. Overcrowded tanks have problems that are not evident here. Those fish look quite healthy, but it is probably a lot of work.
