Paul Simon - "Mystery Train" (Little Junior's Blue Flames cover) - Live at The Music Box - Hollywood, CA - April 19, 2011. Recorded by Joshua J. Smelser.
@jonno52 thanks a million!!!! I have been trying to figure that out for over 35 years!!!!! Strangely that song was our warmup song when I played junior hockey in the 70's. Can't imagine anything like that now!!
@jonno52 Ah, knew I recognised that second bit, from 1.53: "Wheels" by the String Alongs from 1961 (it's here on YT). Who would have thought of putting *that* together with "Mystery Train?!" Sweet touch.
..que delicia de version ...Elvis lo siento !!!...escuchen una version mas rica de esta cancion en PAUL SIMON 'LIVE AT WEBSTER HALL NEW YORK"..con los mismos musicos que menciono whatsitall !!!!....
. that version so great ... Elvis I'm sorry. To hear a richer version of this song on PAUL SIMON 'LIVE AT WEBSTER HALL NEW YORK ".. with the same musicians who mentioned whatsitall!! ...
Mark Stewart: guitar (Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist, avid bicyclist, instrument designer, played with Steve Reich, Anthony Braxton, Bob Dylan, Cecil Taylor, Meredith Monk, Phillip Glass, Springsteen, Edie Brickell, Don Byron, McCartney, Marc Ribot)
Vincent Nguini: guitar (Cameroon-based)
Tony Cedras: accordian
Andy Snitzer: sax, synthesizer
Mick Rossi: percussion
Jim Oblon: drums, guitars
Bakithi Kumalo: bass (known for his fretless bass playing on "Graceland" (1986)

@banzaizipper "Wheels", if we're taking about the same riff - see my other comment. (That's 3 posts by me - outta here now!).

That segue at around 1.53 is exquisite. Great playing by everyone: thank you otterfreak.
