The Count Basie Orchestra delivers a swinging rendition of "Back to The Apple" in Sweden, 1962.

Soloists: Frank Foster (tenor saxophone) and Al Aarons (trumpet).
Frank Foster is also the composer and arranger.

The rhythm section of this band is a powerhouse: Count Basie (piano), Eddie Jones (bass), Freddie Green (guitar) and Sonny Payne (drums).

    Love Frank Foster's tenor sound, and the horns are hittin' it pretty hard here, too.

    Nice muted trumpet solo by Aarons, puffin' out his cheeks like Ol' Satch!

    & Sonny Payne has a bit of a bash, spinnin' his stick around while closing it out - fabulous 'live' video of The Count's Boys!!!
