  • if Asians were there surely they will be first... :)

  • @Clemsonshawty the swift of uprising of Jamaica is as a result of the IAAF clamping down on the doping in the sport, hence it is becoming a more fair battlefield and the Jamaicans are having their time to shine.

  • @eXodusVV Look at how her records have stood the test of time with no one coming close. I really think they can't be broken. I think she was drugged.

  • People whine about Americans using steroid, those who think their countryman are not using or haven't used are total morons! If one countryman has used you can be assured that one or more have used once upon a time in their athletic careers to achieve their goal. Jamaican's been found doping, Russians, Great Britain, Canada, Cuban, etc. So get your heads out of your asses, and stop being a hater. So.. speak on what you know. Do you know what goes on in their homes and in their locker room???

  • @eXodusVV its funny how everyone talks about Americans drugging...but has anyone noticed the SWIFT UPRISING OF Jamaicans.. This video is from 2000 and there is no Jamaican team, and then in 2008...both men and women's sprinting was dominated by Jamaicans? And ALL 3 of the fastest races had the world record broken by Jamaicans?

  • stop fuckin repeting dis shit

  • Where's Jamaica?

  • @speedyslime93 I still think Brazil had a minimal chance to win. Claudinei Quirino, our last man, was at his best back then, finish constantly in top 3 in 200m, and if he had received the batton faster, like 3 or 4 steps ahead (yes, the last passing was terrible :-( I think he had a chance to hold Greene - who knows?

Anyway, USA run almost to perfection on this one, well deserverd accolades!

  • @Gauchoo1234 You're right, Brazil's first two exchanges were superb, but even if the third and last exchange was as good, they still wouldn't have won. At 27 seconds into the race, you can see USA have a 1.5 metre lead which wouldn't have been closed up much at all after the stagger of the bend. Plus Greene was faster than Da Silva - Greene pulls away in the last 50m

  • @keonist I would hope that they were beaten since it would be what? Eleven years later and the sport has progressed so much. Teams of 2000 don't compare to teams in 2011. Records have been shattered since then.
