In addition to what I previously posted, keep in mind that Stieglitz was purely a fine art photographer. He was independently wealthy and he didn't have to photograph to put food on his table. He was also the major fine-art promoter in the country during his time. Brady's work was of a practical nature. It was a business for him. I see very little in common with them except that they were both photographers. Their goals were different.

@hugoavila1 I'm not sure what you are asking. Is there a specific aspect of Brady's photography that you want to know more about? Keep mind that Brady and Stieglitz practiced different types of photography with different goals in mind and they also practiced during different eras. The technology they worked with was different as well. In addition, Brady was really a commercial photographer and much of the work attributed to him was actually done by photographers he employed.

I'm glad that you liked it. It's from a video called, "Alfred Stieglitz: The Eloquent Eye." It's an outstanding documentary.
