btw, There have been people who live in anarchy and did just fine... the three that comes to mind is the American old west before it was settled, and mid-evil Ireland and Iceland.
Anarchy doesn't mean no law... there is law in anarchy.
Videos going in to these things are on YouTUbe.

You seem to think Anarchy is a system based on everyone one being nice. This is a complete misunderstanding on your part. We just see the ridiculousness of the proposition that we must give a small arbitrary group of people the power to coerce and initiate violence to protect us from people who would coerce and initiate violence.
Your seem somewhat naive on this matter, if people cant be trusted then why do you trust giving power to those same people in government?

huh? You think depressions are caused by scarcity? Resources on Earth are fixed and finite, so how could this cause an sudden and acute economic down turn? Did we lose part of earth? Resources aren't any more scarce now then before a depression... so how do you think that something that has not changed can give rise to a new condition?
The business cycle and the recurring recessions and depressions are a result of specific government actions.

@yetidetective - Damn!
If that isn't the perfect argument FOR Universal health care, and AGAINST HMOs - I'd like to see one that beats it!!

@wizkid2000 "depressions" do you think scarcity of resources didn't exist before centralized governments? wtf?
LOL. Empty pointless arguments. Simple question. A billionaire has a heart attack, a man unemployed for 18 months, cant get a job, he has a heart attack. So can one tell me why they should b treated different? A society where its given that some are better than others is doomed.

@jesusisasocialist Who's to say that the billionaire is actually a good guy? There are lots of rich people who are doing no good at all, E.G. bankers. Likewise, there are plenty of unemployed people working for the greater good. There are unemployed people who are working to make it big. A good example is J. K. Rowling, who was unemployed when she wrote Harry Potter. Most importantly, a society which decides not to help people because they are judged worthless is not one I'd like to live in.

For diverse private goods, like shoes, the government should stay out (except to prevent force and fraud) For uniform public goods like roads, light houses and fire departments the government should be the controller.
Health care is a uniform private good. The question is "Is health care closer to shoes or streets?"

It's a good question, and a sane way to look at the problem.

I resent the fact that you made only one version of this video. Do you think we should all have to watch the same video?
