I'll take your word on Keith not being able to debate guests b/c he is new to me, although I like his commentaries (which contain checkable facts). Although I have noticed the sickening fact that the appraisal of victory often hinges on lies that cannot immediately be refuted (but often fall quite easily if you follow up the claims that "stumped" the host), an ad hominem attack, or a stupid joke that draws laughter from one's existing supporters.
Believing that we need to have integrity in executing foreign and public policy is not equivalent to cowardice. I firmly believe in the maintenace of a well-trained, well-equipped professional military but we shouldn't throw around our weight to get what we want. I also believe in being very physically fit and well-trained in hand-to-hand combat but I don't believe in pushing people out of the way to get to the front of the proverbial line.
I grew up in a household that admired Mr. Reagan and I hold him in much higher regard than his neo-con successors in the GOP; however, his administration did undermine freely-elected democratic governments that disagreed (as was their right) with our foreign policies.
Sedam=Saddam? Anger is not always irrational. It's hard to keep your blood pressure low when constantly faced with unwavering ignorance and blatant, self-serving dishonesty. We already have something similar to "Sedam channel 24/7", it's called Fox "News".
Here's afun exercise, look up the percentages of Democrats in Congress or national public office who have served in the military and compare it with the percentages among the identical cross-section of the Republicans over the past 3-4 decades; the "cowardly", "cut-and-run" Democrats have spent much more time in uniform and much more time in combat than their critics.
Are u fucking crazy. Do you not recall "trickle down" economics? Nothing trickled down but misery. Get your head out of your ass and into the real world. Reagan was a schmuck and a liar ( " I don't remember" - Iran / Contra). I take it you were never poor. Reagan's policies, like Bush's, benefit the rich at the expense of the working class. Ever heard of the war on the middle class? Look into it.
You must have missed out on history then my friend. Find an American that says that they didn't prosper under Reagan, and I will show you a pro strike, prounion left wing liberal afraid of the truth.

Note: Sen. McCain's military service and sacrifice are extremely atypical among his peers.
