I've been a fan of Brenda Holloway almost all my life, and this lovely tune has that nostalgia that Motown used to have. It was released in August 1966 on Tamla-54137 and TMG-581 November in UK. Give it a few plays and you'll see how it grows on you! :-)

Now this is a song that makes you want to LOVE Brenda even more. Motown with the right producers/writers bring out the best in this woman. She's so soulful and this tune is truly haunting. Brenda is the only one at Motown who gave this song her special tune. Wonderful song.

Sadly, I was beginning to think I was one of only a few (judging by the comments I got here) that appreciated the lyrics and the song of Brenda's lovely tune from all those years ago!! it was very high in charts aount the world at the time too! :-) JOHN
