I was playing around in Eden for a little this morning and I decided to record this for fun. I know there are several ways to do this, but this was in my opinion the quickest and easiest way to get this done. You may do this as soon as you reach the Leviathan Plaza area of Eden in Chapter 13.

*In order to get the full CP amount you have to complete mission 55 "Can't We All Just Get Along?" to obtain the Growth Egg, which doubles the total amount of CP that you get each battle.*

It's recommended that you do this after you beat the game, since by then your party should be far into the Crystarium board and should know most of the abilities. If you aren't finished with the game and need to level up some more, then watch this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9-9VgKutT0

Now first what you want to do is setup a couple of Paradigms for this battle, create tri-Disaster (RAV/RAV/RAV), Rapid Growth (SYN/SYN/SYN), Infilitration (SAB/SAB/SAB), and Cerberus (COM/COM/COM) Paradigms with Rapid Growth preset as the current Paradigm. Next get into battle with the Adamantoise, and have your team use Brave, Faith and Haste on themselves. (You might have to buy Fortisols if you can't buff up fast enough before it's first stomp kills you.) Summon Bahamut and it's legs will automatically die, leaving it immobilized on the floor. Switch to Infiltration and cast Deshell, Deprotect and Slow on it. After those three are set, switch to tri-Disaster and stagger it fast, Bahamut makes this go much quicker. You'll have to do this part quickly because the Eidolon will leave and it's best that the Adamantoise staggers before the Eidolon leaves. Switch to Cerberus and hack away until it dies. You'll get 40,000 CP for winning, but with the Growth Egg it's doubled giving you 80,000 CP instead, that's almost 100K right there! If you have the Connoisseur's Catalog equiped, it'll increase the chances of getting the rare Trapezohedron item, which transforms maxed out Tier 2 weapons into their ultimate forms. You can sell the Platinum Ingots you get from the Adamatoise too for 150,000 Gil, and then you can upgrade your equipment with ease.

After battle, you can fight the soldiers in the area for easy TP, and then once you're refilled, you can fight the Adamantoise again. It's a little tedious at first but you'll gather CP in little time and you'll max out your boards in no time.

  • man i always thought this game was shit but now i am starting to like it :P is it worth getting? pls reply me

  • Among Final Fantasy fans, there've been mixed reactions towards the game as a whole. Some didn't enjoy it for it's linear gameplay. Some didn't enjoy it because it wasn't "the same" as other Final Fantasies. As a hardcore FF fan, I enjoyed it. Not the greatest Final Fantasy but a good RPG nonetheless. Try it out.

  • i have a question, when u beat the game, can u go back and do the 64 missions on grand pulse?

  • Yes you can, although I wouldn't recommend doing them. They're very boring.

  • @RoxasNova i just want to do them so that i could do the achievements, and where did u get that omega weapon for lighting, and is that weapon the strongest weapon she could use?

  • It's been too long since I last played man, if I could tell you how I made it I would, sorry. Yeah this is her best weapon, very powerful needless to say.

  • @RoxasNova Totally agree, however, if you take a good look at it, this isn't the most linear Final Fantasy out there: I mean, look at FFX, most people don't see it as a linear game but the maps are flat out straight lines!, the thing is that its environment is open spaces, while in FFXIII its closed alleys most of the time. The biggest discussion is about whether you believe the combat system is good and what you think about the story of the game, personally I really love this game.

  • @Alexenda4488 boost up with Crustarium. Fight the two beast at The Archyite Steppe-Northern Highplain

  • I have a question... If they decided to not kill the Orphan... Why they go to Eden and kill it? ... (sorry 4 my english)

  • Is this game already finish or are you still at chapeter 12?

  • HI, You gotta reply me.

How do you get so strong? I'm at chapter 12 now, at Eden - Leviathan Plaza (exactly where you are standing.) My HP only 6000+. Please. You Gotta help me! It seems everyone on youtube so strong at chapter 12.

  • @zanoskar you should buy it:D!

  • Im at the part where they just went to gran pulse and im now roaming the huge open field, trying to train. Thing is, its hard to train cuz it takes me two or more tries just to win a single battle. Im using Hope, Lightning, and Sazh with all of them being trained offensively (as in, Hope and Sazh as a ravager, Lightning as a commando). Its getting to the point where all of their upgrades cost 6-10 thousand. Can anyone help me with a better strategy of training? Or some good way to make gil?

  • @hunterman823 you get all your party and can change them later but I didn't beat the game so maybe it changes back

  • oookkaay.... soo where did you go to lvl so you could lvl here....

  • @zanoskar yes

  • The only thing I don't like about the game is how if the character controlling you dies, it's game over. I should be able to use my other party member to at least revive myself. And the other thing, I don't really like how I can't pick and choose my own parties and they keep splitting up in the beginning chapters of the game. Overall the game is really great, and the cinematics are well done. I like the new battle system. It gives a more action-filled feeling to battles.
