  • @TiffanyLynneStory Manufactured homes are built with extremely lightweight products that can fail very early in a fire. So, if conditions are too severe that you cannot make interior attack (fight the fire from the inside), then conditions are also too dangerous for you to put people on the roof.

I'm not saying the fire wasn't serious, I'm saying that having people on the roof and using an interior attack are mutually exclusive.

  • @cozmosis it Wasn't That Easy, They Even Had Firefighters On The Inside Of The House.

One Was Trapped Under The Roof When It Collapsed.

  • I entered the fire service in the 1970's in a northeastern US fire department. The tactics displayed here go against just about everything my brother firefighters and I learned and practiced during my two decades of firefighting. I'll leave it at that.

  • As much as I hate the folks that patrol the Internet looking for bad firefighting tactics... I wonder how any building not worth making an aggressive interior attack is worth putting people on the roof? If you're just going to spray water from outside, do it from the safety of the ground.

  • This Is My Grandparents House & I Couldn't Believe It When I First Found Out.

We Wre There The Second Time It Started Burning & I Had To Call 911. They Are Living In There House In Town Right Now.

  • Push the fire out of the building don't drive it back into the building
