When I was 14 I saw Donovan in concert. He wore a purple kaftan and did this song and others from A Gift from a Flower to a Garden. Yes, it was a wonderful experience.

Just so we're all clear here: While this is a beautiful song, it is VERY VERY sad, and is about a prostitute. Not a lover, daughter, etc. listen to the words.

For those of u who have no clue how to say my sister's name, or its origin. This was my dad's favorite song and I believe he was singing about his own child. The correct pronunciation of her name is absolutely beautiful.
