Note: These missions are done along the way so you can see how far you must progress before it is possible to get a max rank rating battle (aside from trying it later on when much more powerful).


This is the first time I think I showed you about using the teleporters, which is extremely useful in going to many of the Gran Pulse zones.

This is a perfect example since the M29 Crystal is in the mines while the target is near the Tejin Tower.


Also, a first look at another Advanced Technique (not sure if I want to make #03 video on it) of "Optima Inherit" which I call it (unless you all can think of something more flashy or better). This is extremely useful only for you since the AI does not take advantage of the limit breaks.

What "Optima Inherit" does is this...

Normally when you switch Optima, you'll cancel your current queue of attacks.. but in Limit Break case you do not (the attack will still be performed).

When you switch Optima during the Limit Break.. you inherit the new role during the course of the Limit Break.

Since Lightning has more power in her ATK than MAG.. if I switch to ATK from BLA during her "Scene Drive", her damage will go up due to her ATK abilities and passive from the ATK role.

A normal "Scene Drive" (from BLA) may only deal 300 per hit to an enemy.. but with ATK role, it can deal 800+ per hit instead!

In quick terms.. you inherit the new chosen optima role abilities and such DURING your limit break actions.

your advanced technique idea is pretty good, but isnt it only useful for Lightning with your party?

Only whoever you control, since you are the only person that can use the limit (the AI won't use it for some weird reason.. I would love to have Vanille spam Death all day...)

I have question about your new At, Ll. Would same for someone like vanille who is a healer. If she is in blaster, and did a healing move. Would the character heal recover less in hp if she was in blaster form? Or would they recover more if she was in healer form. I'm sorry if my wording for this question sucks. It is somewhat hard to phase for me.

She won't be able to heal in BLA mode, doing an optima change will cancel all her moves unless she already is casting before the change.

The only moves that will not be canceled from the optima switch is the limit breaks.

You did this mission right after beat Barthendalus in Oerba or you did this when we come back to Gran Pulse on the Chapter 13?

I just beat Barthendalus and I don't know what to do: Go back to Coccon or complete all those missions...

How many variations of the limit break are there for one character?

If I have attacker and then switch to healer (for lightning) will the limit break combo scene be affected? Or will it only work whilst in Attacker and Blaster
