In the mid-1990s (ca 1994-96), the Trans-Mississippi Trolley Company operated excursion trips from Keokuk, Iowa to "Nowhere", Illinois (in reality just a signpost in a cornfield!) over the Keokuk Junction Railway (KJRY). The equipment consisted of two former-SEPTA (Philadelphia & Western) "Strafford" cars as well as a generator car providing power.
These are new reports from the time showing the operation.
