This dissapoints me... its not following the game what-so-ever. Helena is french, Kasumi looks nothing like her game counterpart... sad really.

@MoThePanda I am not dissapointed at all to be honest ... The plot may lack a bit but other than that , the acting , the selection of the actors for each character and most important the action in the movie is pretty good . For me DOA is one of the ''most succesful'' combat movies if you compare with Mortal Kombat , Tekken and others .

@MoThePanda are you joking kasumi looks almost every thing like that girl portraying her especially when shes in the blue and white costume. and this story is better than the game story the game story is too vague. but your right about Helena the movie version of her is nothing like her in the game.

i thought kasumi and ayane were sisters. their face's look identical in the game. if ayane loves hayate that would be insest if ayane and kasumi are sisters.

Just because Kasumi is shy and tender, that doesn't mean she can't kick ass. Besides, Kasumi is looking for her brother in the first DOA game, so this is quite similiar in small ways to the games. And just because she doesn't look like her game counterpart at all, is a bit stupid. Not all actresses can look like their game counterparts.

I hate how they butchered the movie from the game. Christie is supposed to be dangerous, Helena is french and graceful, Kasumi is tender and shy, Ayane is a badass and is Kasumi and Hayate's half sister, so it would be awkward for their to be a "love" theme. All in all...this movie sucks.
