Fixing M9340f HP Pc Graphics Card fan noise...

I own a M9340f HP Pavilion PC and after about 10 months owning it i noticed a LOUD rattling coming from the computer, so i opened it up and hit all the fans and unplugged them while i heard the sound to try and find the source of the problem and found nothing, so then i realized there was a small fan on my graphics card and i nudged it and the sound went away from a second thus showing the source of my problem. So i called up HP and since it was still under my 1 year manufacter warranty I told them the issue and they sent me a new graphics card and had me send the bad one back... easy process but irritating that it would go bad like that.... for all you other m9340f owners there is no need to "LUBE" the fan with oil like i have seen in other blog's and video's, simply get a replacement!

True that, with the new recalled card there has been no problems, but i put in a secondary cooling fan as well just to asure i didnt get the same problem...

is the new card (blue cover) any difference besides the noise problem on the old (black cover)?

I dont believe so... but i have not had a problem with it yet

how long did it take for them to replace it?

It took 3 days using the advanced plan too get the new card, then i sent back my old one and the $65 deductd from my credit card account was refunded back to my account once they received the p.o.s. card. Good luck, over-all very easy process

i just fixed my pc fan it was making much noise and now is just alright

Man I've got the worst luck ever. I did not know about HP recalling the graphics card and now the desktop won't start up, guess what? Blue Screen. it's really frustration, I was in Japan and when I came back the "chainsaw" sound started. Anyone know how can I fix this problem?
