Wish I had her as a piano student! I love this song slow much better anyhow. Cynic150 says not bad? LOL this is not a 30-something concert pianist, for her age it is priceless!

Not bad. A bit pedestrian. It sounds rather like Bach. Could she not play a bit faster? The trills are the worst part - they are too slow.

Utterly beautiful. It's really saying something when a young lady such as yourself inspires me to go and get practising this piece again. I never really perfected it and as you show it's so lovely when played well.

@TheEmmaDarling It's definitely an amazing rendition, but crying ? Isn't that a rather extreme reaction ??

I believe this piece should NEVER be played fast....Rachel has it PERFECTO!!!! Ravel would certainly agree.....this piece has so many beautiful cords and melodies that when played fast are missed,,,,,God bless you little angel.....much success in you future ...hope to hear you one day!!!!!!

I've read that Rachel was born in March 1998. She was almost 10 when this was made. She's truly incredible, perhaps the most talented child I've ever heard for her age. Her music would sound great at any age, but to play this well at age 10 is pure genius.
I do wish I knew her full name and where she's from. I hope she continues her career, gains world fame and success, and finds happiness and blessing in her music and life. I love everything I've heard by this little Angel...Love her!

I know this song is supposed to be played at a high tempo, but after listening to other people play this on youtube, I can definitely say I appreciate Rachel's slower playing much more. It makes the song feel so much clearer and more defined. Beautiful. This is my favourite of all her videos.
Excellent rendition -- very patient and thoughtful. Usually I dont even bother to watch kids play advanced pieces, because they just rush through to show technique, but you play this piece with careful touch and steady pace. Good job!
