  • i can hit that note but not with that much power

  • JEFF BUCKLEY................

  • @danidra. That's right. I'm a baritone too and i still can't hit that note.Right now i'm trying to increase the time when i hold a note. Do you know any videos or sites where i can find a good explanation and excersises?

  • @leagiar Don't worry, I wasn't trying to imply you said he uses falsetto. I was just wondering whether it was falsetto or not; it's just too powerful to not be head voice though.

Anyway, it sounds to me like I can hit that A#5 in falsetto, but again, falsetto and head voice, as you said, are two very different things. There's NO WAY I can hit that note with a head voice, considering I'm a baritone. Even 99% of tenors struggle to hit that, let alone with such power.

  • @danidra . i never said he was using falsetto, is pure head voice as you can hear. But he used falsetto in songs like Watch Over You or White Flag by the Mayfield Four. I doubt that you can hit THAT note...and yes he is amazing.

  • @leagiar No worries, it's just that I literally jawdropped once I found out what note he was hitting. :) I mean, I can hit that note in pure falsetto too, but I don't think he uses falsetto there. Probably more of a head voice, because it's just way too powerful.

    Truly amazing.

  • @danidra. I checked again and yes, you're right. It's an A#5. Thanks.

  • @leagiar hmm, I believe it's a A#5. Checked with my guitar. Could you double-check please?

  • First he hits a C5 then he moves to F5 and reach for a milisecond an G#5. By the way, falsetto is not the same as head voice.

  • Myles range is sick, without a doubt he's the best vocalist in rock, but I'm pretty sure he's falsetto here. Summergirl is sick beyond belief, but don't miss 12/31 from Fallout, he hits an F there and that line is just unbelievable as well!
