  • @mrcodhenderson515 This is a matter of some debate among grammarians. Within the context of a diagram, the words are organized by their relationship with one another, not by their formal position in the sentence; therefore, capitalization of the first word in the sentence when writing that word in the diagram may not be necessary. However, for clarity's sake, when teaching students I do generally capitalize it, yes.

  • isn't "the" suppose to be capital?
