Xbox 360 LOUD BenQ Drive Reading DVD

This is a March 2008 Xbox 360 with a BenQ DVD-ROM drive playing Project Gotham Racing 4. Does this sound normal? What do you think?

omg its an airplane in a xbox 360 :D (its probably becuz it's the old drive , you can get a lite-on on ebay (i got one for 35 euro (thats 25 for the actual drive + 10 for the delivery)

my xbox 360 sound the same......it's flashed with 1.5...but it maked this sound since i both it .....

i have the same problem with my BENQ drive , is there a way to fix that?i cant play games anymore , this drive doesent read any discs:(

yeah it sounds a lot quieter with the case on.
