  • hi, i'm planning to buy one but need to check how accurate is it_ if you have it,, do you recommend it or is there a better device? I don't really care about heart rate but the distance and speed is important

  • @thebluebird999 The accuracy is the same as pretty much all recreational GPS units. 3 to 15 meters. This unit only does one coordinate system, Lat/long. If you need other coordinate systems and datums then the Foretrex 401 would be a better choice.

  • "Even shows me the time of day". Wow, never though a watch could do that.

  • Does this watch have the ability to light up

  • dude cut your nails that is grose!!!

  • @GPSCity Ok thank you, but I checked it is very basic. The heart rate monitoring is based on data you enter yourself, it does not "measure your condition" like Polar products do for example.

That is too bad, I would have loved this one because as far as I know it is one of the most reliable HRM and with great features!

  • @Victortrotska The Garmin Forerunner 305 does have zones you can set. You can set a min and a max and use the units alarms to keep within your set zone. Its a great device.

  • @SurfOrDie1 Hey! I am getting back into sports, I used to train the "old way" but those stuff are now actually affordable. I would like some help: does this model have some kind of features like Polar's "OwnZone" or "SportsZone", basically calculating target zones according to your specific condition, day, age etc...? I never ever used those, this model looks like the good stuff unforunately for a newbie like me this does not seem to include much guidance. Thanks in advance!

  • LOVE mine! absolutely fantastic!
