"The Picks" who are heard doing the backup vocal harmonies with Sherry Davis on this web site of "Humble Heart" and "Broken Promises" on another web site were inducted into the 2007 New Mexico Music Hall of Fame and Museum on November 10, 2007 at Albuquerque, NM. "The Picks" are John Pickering, Bob Lapham and the late Bill Pickering. They are also heard on "The Chirping Crickets" Brunswick album of 1957 with Buddy Holly. Buddy and Jack Vaughan are playing guitars. Gene Medley sang bass.
