MACROSS

This is a shooter based upon the famous anime series and movie Macross. It was released for the MSX computer by Bothec in 1985.

The player can transform in 3 modes: Fighter, Gerwalk and Battroid. The transformation of the player sprite are beautifully done (especially for an MSX1 game) but the game itself is rather boring and doesn't capture the spirit of the anime.

It seems to me the MSX game is based on the Macross: Do You Remember Love? movie while the NES game is based on the TV series. Bothec is also the same company that made "Macross: Valkyrie Overdrive" for the Pc in 2001...

It is a nice game in the beginning but it becomes very repetitive after a while.

With regards to the intro screen or logo. I wanted Youtubers to hear the original music of this game (an abridged version of the music of the anime).
