  • Grow Solar Trees?A Solar Tree is a genetic modified tree that is capable to deliver electricity that can be grid-tie !!! I will say this is the final Union of Physics and Biology.

  • But during those big cycles of Ice Ages, there were no humans!! We might all vanish or reduced to a so small number inside the last big cycle. Our civilization(that is the most important to us, not just bare existence as humanoids) is most important. Our multi-billions civilization might not survive inside the last cycle.

  • @MEASEMAN11 I think you learn spelling, then hard sciences a while later.

  • he knows the situation, he knows it can be done but as energy secretary he sits back and hopes retards like GM with people like Bob Lutz who says global warming is a crock, will solve it.

Chu, you can't rely on idiots in power to do it. you have to set up companies that do exactly the right thing, not tiny gradual changes but exactly the right thing without compromise. for cars that's ultra light ultra aerodynamics battery electric drive with perhaps tiny range extenders. power is wind and PV

  • @MEASEMAN11 Are you a cretin?

He explained in very simple terms why we should be wary of greenhouse gases. Science agrees: climate change is happening - read the published papers, do some real research, don't just get spoon-fed by science illiterates like Limbaugh. Listen to the scientists in the climate field.

  • @MEASEMAN11 if u think u understand science, you dont understand science. so please just shut up. get a phd or a nobel prize like this guy first, before you come out and spitxx xxx around

  • LOL! the "free market islanders"! 21:40

  • I love Steven Chu's silly analogies

  • You can't be serious!
