  • How would this pedal react if it was going into a tube power amp?

    Im using a 5150 combo and i want a decent multi-fx to mess around with and play different styles. So im thinking i can run the output on this into the "FX-Return". As im sure you know, the 5150 isn't all that versatile.

    Thanks =)

  • @MichaelLozano12 You probably have to do some EQ tweaking but it should sound descent.

  • I have never in my life seen someone shred like that with a thumbpick. Kudos.

  • @granskater I don't know where you are from but if you have a local store why not go down there and try some stuff out..

  • @extremevideopro So which guitar should i go with? Buy this jackson and the pod x3 or just an ibanez rg1550(cant decide because my amp sucks really bad)

  • @granskater Yes I think the NEW Edge trems are better than the Floyd but not the older Edge Pro. It's not that single coils are not good for rock but if you want a really beefy high gain sound you should go with humbuckers. You can always coil tap the humbuckers if you ever want the single coil sound. It does have it's place in rock history. After all Hendrix used single coils on his guitars. So did Clapton and Gilmore and scores of other very historic rock guitar icons.

  • @extremevideopro Ok thanks for the info,One more question if its okay to you.I have heard that the Floyd rose are different from the Edge tremolos and the Single coil pickups arent good for rock.Is this true? Sorry to be annoying and all.

  • @granskater Like I said the neck feels great. I have a Steve Vai Jem and the trem on that Jackson is just as good. But to answer your question, if you get this guitar and the X3 will you have the exact same sound as Steve Vai.. . . . NO Only Steve Vai can sound like Steve Vai.

  • @extremevideopro Hum,i found a Jackson DK2 pro series that comes with a sustain pickup or something like that.How does the neck feel? Is the tremolo any close as good as the Ibanez Edge Pro? With this guitar and the Pod X3 i can get the exact same sound than steve vai? I would really apreciate any info about ur gear(guitra,pedals,amps)Thanks. :)

  • @granskater That's a Jackson DK2S. If you could still get one it cost around 800 or 900 US$ It's a very good guitar and it plays and feels just as good as any high dollar guitar.

  • What guitar is that? How much it will cost me to get that gear? Thanks :)
