Question: Is there a fan inside? cause i used speedfan and it shows 0rpm for cpu fan and 40 for cpu temp
spiritandsword 11 months ago
@spiritandsword Yes, there's a fan - Speedfan can't measure things properly all the time. It probably doesn't have support specifically for the V13.

Thanks for the response. I was wondering what good would this notebook be good for? Someone has bought me one and I haven't opened it yet. I am wondering if it is worth opening it or trying to get another one?

@lucyndskywtdiamonds It's a good general-purpose notebook; Word, Excel, Web browsing, Twitter, etc. It's more powerful than a netbook, but not by much. I think photo editing would be kind of painful on it...but if you're patient, it's possible. :-)

I am a student @ Kaplan online schooling. I am going for IT/webdesign. I was wondering if this computer would be able to handle my online school as well as Adobe CS5 and designing websites?
Thanks

@lucyndskywtdiamonds No, absolutely not. This is a low-powered, fairly slow CPU. It's not a general purpose computer. It wouldn't handle the tasks you're describing very well. The new Intel Sandy Bridge-based laptops are coming out in the next 30-60 days - they're worth waiting for.
