nice video.. where u from in Ohio I'm near Grand Lake St. Marys in mercer county and id like to start in on the early goose season... and yes Ohio's got lots of bands. If you don't believe me watch Zinks 24-7 clucking crazy, they hunt about a mile away from where i do and they drop 6 leg bands from one group!

nice spot, great spot,nice decoys,half ass calling. not that you needed any calling, those geese were odviously feeding in that field on a regulaur basis.I agree with the other guy let the first few touch.Maybe the weeds block out other geese,but it looks as if all the geese have landed before anyone shoots.whatever floats your boat

We can kill them just fine out of the air. Not sure if you know this or not, but Ohio has a huge banding project. You saw the one neck collar. We let early season birds land so we can scan the legs. You saw the one flock that flew over right? We dumped 4 out of the 6. I assure you that we have no problem killing them out of the air. But, a thumbs up to you for watching it!
