thanks

It's not on the Austim spectrum as of yet bc we are less visual then sufferers of aspergers syndrome some NLDERs can have aspergers tendencies such as fixation on one task of sensory overload

Thank you very much for sharing this.

and I used the same techniques along with multiple choice skills on the matrix part (all 25 puzzles correct). On the picture completion though, I COULDN'T see the missing details. It was like I was looking at an optical illusion or magic eye game. Surpisingly, I scored "very superior" on the digit encoding and "low-average" on the picture arrangement (time factor). Also, I scored a 780\800 verbal and 750\800 quantitative on the S.A.T. The Delis-Kaplan showed the visual problems. NVLD is weird.

Navigation, organization and obsessive thinking are my BIGGEST limitations, but I somehow taught myself internal verbalization, tactile and inductive logical techniques because I loved puzzles, math (ironically) and chess. On the WAIS. I scored a
151 VIQ and a 131 PIQ. The Dr. Noticed that I was silently telling myself how to put the blocks together and checking with using finger movements . I got a 16 raw score

omgosh me too. Math is wicked hard and especially directions. Weather it be directions to a store or directions on how to do things.
-
@larrymyclown i have NLD and i have incredible sense of direction
-
my son has NLD but has a normal sense of direction, even above average i would say
I have NVLD, I have a very difficult time with math. I also find it confusing when I have directions that are really wordy.

Yeah i have NLD it's so weird I learned to read really fast and have always been better than everyone but with math anything like algebra or stuff like that is REALLY hard I can't get it. My brain doesn't understand the process I think.
