  • I am using the Walkera 2801 Pro radio system with my Storm 450 and it was set up by Helipal. I am at the point where I want to try 3D flight. I can't seem to be able to get negative pitch while the motor is turning. Could it be that I have the throttle hold and the idle up levers confused? I am new to this hobby so pardon me for such a simple question. Which switches do what and what position should they be in in order to be able to do inverted flight.

  • no i got the walkera cb180d its awsome

  • @r2koooolmi

Get the Walkera CB100, same heli with new head design and brushless main and tail motors. You will absolutely love it.

  • and how long does the battery last

  • im getting one are they really fun

  • DAM! thats impressive trimming. i have a cp and can fly it pretty well but when it comes to trimming that thing im like a kid in toy store....lost

  • To be able to control with just trims, the world's MOST unstable helicopter EVER, is an incredible achievement. I've been bitching about this infernal machine for a year. The offset flybar, ala the PiccoZ was all, I thought, that was needed.

Not so,, and here we have the real deal.

I imagine that your engineering degrees in mechanics and aeronautics helped a lot.

  • Yep, I'm using the trims! But as little as possible and only 1-2 clicks at a time, honest. Something has to keep it from getting too close to the walls. What's so special is that it corrects any movement exactly opposite of that movement, as opposed to to the left or right, which would cause what we call the "toilet bowl effect" where a heli will move in a circle and accelerate as it gets out of control. Try it, and let me know if trims are enough. ;) :D Later, Jay
