05/10/09 Went out today metal detecting with Twistidd and Watercolor out in the woods again for a 7 hour hunt. We bumped around to a few places then decided to go back over to where Twistidd found his 2 perfect Barber dimes last week, a place we dubbed "Barber Hill". This is what I found, an 1867 (no rays) Shield Nickel!!! This is my 2nd oldest coin that I found!!!

  • you "licked it" lol I love it! great video bro

  • LOL - It would be a whole lot easier to just carry some water with me but I I got so excited I wanted to try and get a date without rubbing it. hahaha

  • You must have been very excited if you licked it to get it wet. That ia a great quote. Congrats on your first!!

  • Yea, once I figured out what it was I dropped my detector and ran off yelling trying to find my buddy. Luckly he wasn't too far off as I could of lost my detector!!! LOL
