@DearBossMusic yea but...lets see the Aliens get something as close to a Hive Mind or Carnivex.

For the chonologically challeneged among you, 40k was first published in 1987. Alien (the movie) was released in 1979, ie 8 years earlier.

@spacewolveslol no.

@DearBossMusic except not as lonesome

Thats not true. The first Alien movie was in 1979. You have your facts wrong.
-
@DearBossMusic nids would be but they were designed before the alien franchise so if anything they are a rip of of the nids

Bugs have exoskeletons. But the bugs in our natural world do not look like the Xenomorphs from Aliens. The Xenomorph's skeleton is based around the human skeleton. And do you know what 'xeno' means? It means Alien. There are plenty of Aliens that do not look like the Xenomorph.
-
@DearBossMusic the tyranids and zerg are both xeno life forms. thats why they all look like xenomorphs .so there not rip offs there based on what people think a xeno exo skeleton lifeform would look like
-
Pretty close to it. The guy who designed Alien is a world renowned artist. He designed it based around the human skeleton and sexual organs.
Zerg and Tyranids are both rip offs of the Xenomorphs from the Alien franchise.
