Longer Word 2007 documents -- like reports and manuscripts -- benefit from key words and phrases indexed for reference. Preset formats and customizable Word templates enable you to pick the right look for your index -- from line spacing to indentation to number of columns.

  • thank you very much for this video... i wanted to learn this for my test in the college tomorrow..!!!

  • I have a 36 page document in Publisher 2010. Can I index it?

  • Very nice, thank you. faster and clearer to look here than in one of the advanced Word training manuals and have to go thru some artificial long winded scenario; or to use the MS Word publications as " Word 2007 Inside and Out";

    Would be great to be abel to see an 'advanced' (?) version of this where the use of the various options is discussed, including stong and weak points of the Index feature. And even overall opinon of the job MS has done with this.

  • Amazingly helpful! I wish I knew about these videos when I was writing my dissertation!

  • Ouh fucked up everything. I inserted an index but you know what? The index doesn't seem to stop there. Help me! Even when i create a new document I see the "IP" sign and when i press space "...." go on appearing. What should i do? Help me please.

  • thank you nice internet lady for saving me an hour, trying to figure that out by myself ;)
