Iran was headed to be the first demcoracy in the Middel East back in 1950 . It was the U.S Government in the first place who then put the Dictator Shah in Power by helping him because he was Pro Western, so they could make use of him and the oil in Iran. When they saw his dictatorship came to an end they didnt even support him. The people had enough of the Sjah cus he remained in power cus of dicatorship. Before all this Iran was headed for the first democracy in Middle East .
