www.RailayProductions.com Course Info: 7,468 yards (blue tees) 76.6 rating / 144 slope

In order to play Bethpage Black as an out-of-state resident, you have to sleep in your car the night before and wake up at 4:30am to get a tee time. Due to the high demand to play the course before the 2009 US Open, I had to sleep 2 nights in the parking lot (close to 48 hours).

  • did u have to pay the 120 rate for non resident weekend ? what did u pay if not>.//?

  • @philmickelsonfan12 i actually paid $100 because i was set to play on friday, but it got rained out. they let us get back in the line up and play on saturday (1st time in bethpage history) and play for $100 on saturday. so we actually slept 2 nights in the parking lot.

  • simply ridiculous. as much as i love golf there is no fucing way i'm sleeping in my car to play this course. no fucking way. these guys probably don't have any lives outside of golf. lol.

  • @stackleft haha - part of the whole experience is sleeping in the car. it's worth it.

  • I'm a resident, I hope to play there soon! :D

  • if i were a resident, i would play there at least once a year. :)
