The best coatings are industrial grade and not Sh. Williams. The bulk of the work is in the preparation. And you need to be experienced spraying with and HVLP rig because you can't get the perfect shine if you are not experienced with the weird shaped angles. The fumes are toxic and get in your system through your skin, eyes, and ears. Refinishing is best done by a professional. Even with the best coatings you can run your car keyes over the properly refinished tub and easily scratch it.

@jorgecuauhtemoc Sherwin Williams sells the coatings and you can get EVLP spray unit at Harbor Freight. there's your trade secret.

@JMeasmer this process is not the same as a diy kit. this tub was professionally done and back by a 3 year warranty. DIY last 3-6 months on average. I have seen our product last 7-10 years! 35 bucks twice a year? you do the math. :)
