this is funny! best fans in hockey! do the red wings ever do anything like this? not at all...

@toughcalljohnny - What did you expect? There are 3-4 thousand people all penguin fans. Try doing that somewhere else and you will probably get shot... My bud went to the cleveland game with a steeler jersey on and got a full beer can chucked at his face.. He had to get stitches, so just chill out and be lucky you didn't get into a brawl.

Agree completely. CBC even offered to feed the games for the fans to watch on the TribTron and NBC refused.

NBC is a joke of a company I called and emailed several times complaining to them.. their broadcast sucks and they ruined a great thing that is unique to the ciy of Pittsburgh and the Penguins

We are very emotional fans. We love our team. I am very sorry you had a terrible experience but we approach our sports very seriously.

NBC sucks and always will. I've had great times in the lot and have found this is a better way to experience the game.
We have GREAT fans in Pittsburgh. I always find more and more friends after Steeler and Penguins games.
GO PENS!!

Definitely a cool idea. Too bad NBC had to ruin that shit. We don't even have Joe Vision here in Detroit for tonight's game because of NBC. Complete BS.

yea, I did have things thrown at me and literally got in a couple fights cuz people were pushing my girlfriend and calling her a slut. I had a terrible experience there... I expected to get booed and heckled a bit, but people went way too far...
anyway, good luck to you too
I think I was the only wings fan out there. I got in about 7 fights out there. Im sure all you assholes seen me and booed me.. or maybe even threw something at me, or called my girlfriend a slut. Real classy Pittsburgh.....

I know I saw at least eight or ten RW fans outside over the course of the afternoon. Damn straight you get booed! :) A lot of people live it up as they're walking into the arena. It's part of being a sports fan. (I hope no one threw stuff at you or crossed the line from teasing/taunting to harassment -- fortunately I haven't seen too much of that in Pittsburgh)
Now if you want some really harsh opposing fans, try going to Philadelphia sometime ;)
Hey, good luck tonite...
