  • Nice video! ESEE 6 would be my go-to knife. I was curious to why you chose bk2 over the BRKT Bravo 1?

  • @tyger1911 Bravo 1 is a great knife but I chose BK 2 first because it is a bigger knife, better for chopping and botaning as well as because it has flat grind which is easier to sharpen in the field versus convex grind of Bravo 1.

Of course convex grind is stronger and keeps the edge longer but I prefer being able to sharpen it in the field.

  • I'm no expert but I'd pick this:

COLTELLI "TREKKING" Art. 684 from Fox

    blade cm 22,5 - 8.9” overall cm 35,0 - 13.8” thickness mm 5 - 0.2” weight 600 gr - 21.2 oz - Stainless steel 430

it's a sturdy knife, keeps a nice edge and it's capable of performing both fine carving and heavy chopping.

It has some flaws: the edge is a bit too far from the handle in my opinion, but if I had to choose only one cutting tool to have with me, this would be it ^^"

  • @zioazalin I didn't know that such knife even exists. Great piece of cuttlery. Thanks for the tip and whatching my video.

  • I don't like relying on one knife to do it all since no one knife does everything great. I always take a machete, tactical folder, gerber multi-tool, fillet knife, and hollow handled survival knife as a backup (used to be my main knife and surprisingly has held up over the years). I only carry a hatchet when it snows or going to snow as another tool for wood processing.

  • I like the Ontario Camillus. Good for most work.

  • I would pick my KaBar Large Heavy Bowie. Even tough my previous one broke, out of the knives I have this is the one i would pick. If I had a choice I would get something bulletproof. It would be a big knife anyway. Something with a blade length of 9-11 inches.

I think the BK2 is a good choice down the lines of a bulletproof knife. Never had it tough...

  • if I can only pic 1 then Id go with 1 of them axes where the knife comes out the bottem, if there any good, or I have seen a kukri that has a lil knife that comes with it, i dont think theres 1 knife out there thats gona be big enough to hack wood and chop trees, yet be small enough to clean a fish or skin a rabit. Its like I was saying I realy have to have 3 knifes small med and 3xl lmao. Any 1 knife that trys to cover all 3 bases tends to fail, or basicly just do ok but never any good

  • cant pic just 1, I kinda gotta have 3 knifes, a big machete type like the ka bar kukri, for wood working or hacking up bears, mnt lions n such that might be kicking my ass. A normal size and style knif like a gerber prodigy, basicly for cuting rope, gutting hunted animals, close combat over the last beer thouse kinda things and a small sharp knife or maby lil swisarmy style knife for cuting cooked meat and other food, dont wana youse the same knife i was just cuting the asshole out of a boar with

  • I'm not Rambo....he he !:)

So Master Hunter from ColdSteel or F1 from Fällkniven would do.

Both do the work and are reliable knives!

  • my selfmade knive

  • I like the collection, and good job on the English! Keep it up!
