  • can absolutely understand and empathize with u about vs. - awesome lp, definetly an outstanding in their career

  • @wildsidecrew Yeah I think that album means a lot to many people my age. Thanks for the comment and for watching!

  • Dude! I will NEVER forget listening to Rage for the first time...that first album, shortly after it came out. I was like fifteen and was hanging with some older dudes, doing bad things, driving around, they put that on & it Floored me! Perfect situation and feeling just the right way...it was awesome.

Funny enough I was those same dudes when VS came out.. that day and we sat and listened to the whole thing...loved it. May still prefer it to Ten.

Superunknown! I want! Thanks for the response

  • @MrFartboy79 Yeah man RATM's self-titled. It's pretty jaw dropping. I also did most bad things while listening to that album....LOL!

  • I was actually released in 93' so we're working on almost 20 years...isn't that insane?! I own every Pearl Jam album that has been released (studio albums). You should check out Bianural, it's amazing. So is the self-titled record, hell even their newest one is good.

  • I like the direction Pearl Jam has gone in, always pushing themselves. Pearl Jam will never be my favorite group, but love those guys and respect the hell out them,

Thanks again man... great response. I miss the 90s! Had a blast for sure

  • rage against the machine is a cool group. first heard their song in the matrix. i like the records you showed as your life changes ramped up. so cool that you play too! i'm learning that so many vinyl community members are actually musicians. brandon called his records friends too. i agree with yours and his analogy; they are friends to me as well. great response, david.

  • That PJ album was a major release when i was working at Strawberries Records. I remember Tower Records had a huge display set up for Vs too. I cannot believe that was released over 15 years ago. The early shows and the early releases like Ten and VS were so good. I do not want to say I lost interest but I guess I did. Have you bought any of the last five Pearl Jam releases? The early to mid 90's was the tail end of grunge but Pearl Jam keeps on ticking.

    Superb job David~
