@jlweb55 Kettle corn kettles are actually pretty easy to find online. He's using a pretty standard set up.

I worked as a kettle corn cook for three years and I've never used that much oil for a batch. The kettle that I worked with was about twice the size of yours so I always had to wear a face mask and gloves to avoid getting burned by flying kernels.

Have you ever thought of building an "electric" popper to be used for indoors events? I like your gas one, but I live in Amarillo, Texas and the Health Department will not allow us to pop kettle corn in a tent.

We either have to have an enclosed concession stand or do the popping indoors. I have a feeling if anyone could come up with a successful electric kettle corn popper, it would be you.
