Will a karaoke machine kick you off stage if you aren't performing well...probably not. However the band will. That is why I would say doing karaoke with a band is more difficult. Think about it.
Maybe you should do some research on the band, how long they have been in existence, who they have played with, who actually shows up at the "dive", and so on before insulting them. There is much that you don't know. And ease up on the language too. Just because they say it (C**) on South Park doesn't mean it aint profanity. It may sound cool to you, but there is no call to use that language. I've had my say, now to you I say "good day."
Give me a break pal, the "band" you refer to is playing at a surburban live karaoke dive bar, and are hardly into the music being played. Take the lead singer off the stage and just focus on the "band", and you have nothing. You're a chode!
Uh-huh. Try having that much presence if there WASN'T a band there. Singing with the band is far, far better than singing along to a studio track. The only reason you can say that he has presence is because there is a band backing him. If he did the same song without a band (say in the shower, in the car, or in a regular karaoke bar) you would never say he had presence. You would say he was a freak. Now go away, kid, you bother me. And kudos to the singer AND the band.
The band did nothing but take away from this guy's voice. The stage presence of this dude is freakish, i'd of pulled a groin trying some of his moves!

I definitely channeled my inner-Scott Weiland for this song.
