@MurzaSki What do you expect from likes of them. The nazi Party was telling them that everyone in Germany was looking up to them that they were forged in the fire of the race war and about to be forged in the fire of a real war. Initially, they believed in their own superiority so much that they did not care about learning the real Art of War. They believed that they would win just by being pure. So many units have been disillusioned after a visit to OPFOR Hohenfels, it is amazing;)

In a nutshell that is all true, but 60% of all the non--extermination war crimes was comitted by SS and not Wermacht.

What about the regiment of SS-Standarte Germania regiment (predecessor of SS Wiking)?

What about the Battle of Jaworow where the SS Germania was destroyed?

Or what about another regiment encircled by the Polish troops near Pabianice that had to be rescued by Wermaht?

Except for Sepp Dietrich's units, SS was an embarassment to the Heer in 1939.

Later on, after SS got squared away, Wermaht refused to accept them to be able to blame all War Crimes onto them.
