Cole Talks Comics Episode Model Torrent: The Dark Phoenix Saga

Firstly, sorry for the lame hiatus. Second, sorry for this episode's exorbitant length. Once I get a little more comfortable, I'm sure I'll be able to get the episodes back to under fifteen minutes.

So this is the Dark Phoenix Saga which is an extremely important part of X-Men and Marvel history. By the famous team of Claremont and Byrne. Human/mutant drama meets space opera! You've got the X-Men, Hellfire Club and Shi'ar Empire all mixing it up with Jean Grey in the middle.

Awesome stuff! The X-Titles (not just them, but we'll keep the focus there) dripped with importance back then, and the stories really resonated and meant something. I find nowadays that they continually try to put the X-Men in these dire straights - not only for the team, but the entire mutant race - in order to capture that again, but it just doesn't work.

Ya know what, I might do a video response to this!

@jetsilveravenger Yeah, I'll have to re-record my response because of the whole camera issue. Also, I'll try to be more succinct, as my video was also around the 25 minute mark. Your video was full of useful information, but mine was just me not sure what it was I was trying to get at, haha.
