@Beyoncefan1000 ...and Aretha has a greater high-chest range and is clear as a bell and has amazing melismatic control which Tina has never displayed in her life, but that doesn't mean I dislike Tina's voice. Beyonce fans aren't the smartest lot, so please read again. I said they're "barely comparable," there's no value judgment implied in that.

Aretha and Tina's voices are barely comparable apart from the blues tradition they're borne out of... Aretha = church house. Tina = gin house. let's leave it at that.

I'm getting kinda sick of all the comparisons on YouTube. Tina vs Aretha, Ross vs Patti.Dont u all know that's the beauty of music & the magic of versatility in the world (do I dare say God?). Would u compare an apple to a pear? They're all great, and if you dont like pears, or apples, so be it. Enjoy what you like. They've all sold more records than anyone on here, (and I'll bet none of them are sitting around reading these comments), so in the end does it really matter?
