  • i thought all turkish angoras were white o_O

  • They come in several other colors, it's just that a long time ago the white ones were the ones that were most prized.. so now the white ones are the most common ones and what people know the breed as. I gotta white one names Boozer... He's 13 now and the best. <3 I'm also a manx fan heehee

  • Turkish Angora's do indeed come in many diffrent colors. In fact all the natural colors. And not in colors like point, lilac, chocolate, cinnamon etc. It's a HUGE misunderstanding that colored TUA's were no TUA's.

Way back only the white kittens were recognized as TUA's while the colored kittens got dumped on the streets or even killed for being breedless. Completely out of mind ofcourse as both the white and the colored were the kittens of two fullbreed TUA's. Nowadays all colors are accepted.

  • They can be any natural colour ^-^ Though the white ones are/were especially prized in some places.
