About 5 weeks ago i decided to stop watching/reading local, national and international news altogether, i advise everyone to do the same as i never felt so good in my head, i don't feel guilty about the past or feel worried about the future, i only care about the PRESENT nowadays! News are sadomasochistic in pure nature and the media/governement use them for their own agenda!

This is why I don't watch the news hardly ever, because... all they show is NEGATIVE stuff. Maybe they would show positive stuff if people only tuned in to watch the positive things. We control what they air by our ratings given to them by watching their show, just having it on and not watching even...

What it boils down to is interacting with the world in productive ways. Wasting time on TV or on the computer or anything really is just either hurting yourself or it's feeding the pockets of somebody exploiting you (like the news people or the company selling you their 'service' or 'product').

Everything exploits. We exploit the earth. We exploit plants and animals. We can't prevent it. But we need to figure out where the exploiting crosses the line and rapes our humanity.

@QUANTUMBIPOLAR feels good don't it? I stopped watching TV all together about 8 years ago more or less, about 4 years ago I got married and managed to get my wife and her daughter to stop. we get our news from the internet as well as the rest of our entertainment.
