Great video. I'm a type 1 and have met a few of these people you speak of :) Had a new one too - while carefully hiding my meter and doing a quick check before dinner, someone comes up and starts yelling at me for checking my blackberry while at a wedding... nice huh?

hahaha i love you! this is the second video i watched of yours and it prompted me to make a youtube account finally so i could subscribe to you! Im a type 1 diabetic for ten years (just hit my ten year anniversery the 27th yayy!) i have been trying to get myself out in the diabetic world more recently and im loving it, wish i would have done it years ago!!! but anyway your awesome mike!

Hah. This was so great!! :D I will never understand why people think its a good idea to be like "Yeah my uncle had diabetes, he had to have his leg amputated and he eventually died from it." Like, is that supposed to make me feel better? It doesnt make any sense lol :P
