How to make chainmaille from pop tabs

This Is just quick instructions on how to make European 4-in-1 chain maille from pop can tabs. it's light weight and looks nice.

Sorry for the bad image and sound quality, It's from my Sharper Image camera. (Ironic, Huh?)

I've been working on this for close to 6 months. And just have enough to make a belt of it around my waist. I like the wire idea, it comes in handy. I'm trying to make a full jacket. Obviously taking awhile to collect to the pop tabs. Any idea where I may be able to find a lot of them? (I rarely drink soda so I don't have the fridge stocked with cans.)

Great idea. There are better tools than a pair of wire cutters though. Your cutters will most likely fail soon.

the round ones can be found on pepsi cans, and the squarish ones on coca cola.

Thumbs up for creativity. I'm doing chain maille by rings for a necklace but I gotta say for a chain maille armor effect. I'd have never considered something like this. I'd have to give a second thumbs up for the post it checks and x's that gave an awesome comical experience.
